How To Play

Logging In

To log into the system enter your username and password into the Login box on the top left of the screen.
If you have forgotten your password then you can request that it is sent to you using the email address you gave when you created your user.

Creating a new User with no unusual characters or spaces i.e (-, &,+,@,*)

To be able to participate in the Prediction League you need to create a user profile. This is created by selecting the New User link from the left hand column.
IMPORTANT: Unusual characters and spaces should NOT be used in your chosen User id (Game Name)
Select a User ID to identify yourself in the prediction league. This can be anything you like as long as a) NO SPACES or unusual characters are used i.e. "the player" should be "theplayer" it is not already taken by another User.

UPTS Ltd cannot be held responsible for any problems caused with credits or results not registering as a result of unusual charcters and/or spaces in user names or prediction boxes.

Enter a password of your choice with NO SPACES or unusual characters then repeat it in the box below the first. This is to ensure no-one else can change your predictions.

You must enter a valid email address to join the prediction league. This is used to have your password mailed to should you forget it. We may ask you to email us back to verify that you are using a genuine email address.

You will be sent an authentication email shortly after creating a new user (check spam mail folder). Follow the email instructions to become a member and start predicting. Once your predictions are in you will be sent confirmation of those by email too. Ensure your CORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS is entered for all UPTS Ltd winnings notifications, game confirmations and verifications.

Scoring

Points are awarded as follows:

0 Points for a incorrect result. ( you predict 3-1 but the result is1-3)
1 Point for a correct result. You predict 1-1, the score is 2-2.
2 ADDITIONAL Points totalling (3) for a correct score. i.e. you predict 3-1 and the result actually is 3-1.

Goal Difference

For each correct teams number of goals you score, you receive that number of +goals. e.g. you predict 2 and the team scores 2, you get +2 goals.
For each incorrect number of goals you predict per team, you lose the difference in goals. e.g. you predict 3 and the team scores 2, you get -1 goals.

Prize

A programme 1st prize is awarded to the paying member who scores the most points in any given programme of fixtures.
There will, of course, be League Winner prizes.
Prizes are awarded as long as an average of 1 point per game score is achieved in the relevant programme i.e. a weekly programme is 10 games then a winner must achieve 10 pts minimum or 8 games, 8 pts minimum.. and so on.
If there is a tie for 1st place then the member with the MOST CORRECT RESULTS in that particular programme will win. If the number of results are the same then the member with the better relevant GOAL DIFFERENCE wins, if there is ultimately more than 1 winner the Cash Pot will be shared accordingly.
If any member achieves 18 pts in any given programme then they will win 2 free games.

Menu Options

Prediction Table
Displays the current league standings of the selected league.

Fixtures/Results
Displays the fixtures and results to date.

My Predictions
Display the predictions you have made so far.

My Profile
Change your user preferences.

U can change your Mobile & Landline Number, Password, Username, Icon, Email address here.

U can also click on your icon (quick edit) to replace with one of our library icons.

You can submit an icon to the admin for approval of use via email (please note icon will installed into a general library, thus any User can use them).

If unauthorised icons are used they will be deleted.

Logout
Logout from the prediction league so no-one can use your benefits.

My Messages
Display any messages that other users have sent to you.

Messaging or Shouts

You can use messaging to send messages to other users and likewise other users can send messages to you. To send a message to another user click "Message User" on the menu or click the icon when you see it next a another user. To leave a Shout you must be logged in as a member.
